A visual world where emotion translates into color.
Hand-painted work where color, body, and emotion come together.
Discover the colorful world of Sissi Art
Sissi's work unfolds in series, each with its own visual language and emotional energy. La Femme explores identity through layered compositions, while Fireworks captures emotion in color and movement. Letters from Sissi brings together artwork, story, and material in an intimate art mailing. Together, these elements form an ongoing universe in which painting, story, and experience reinforce one another.
Sissi Art is the studio of artist Sécilia Somaroo-IJsbrandij in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands. This is where colorful, hand-painted acrylic paintings come to life: originals and custom artworks for anyone who wants a unique piece on their wall, art cards and signed prints, and every month a new edition of Letters from Sissi, the art subscription delivered by mail in the Netherlands and the rest of the EU.

About Sissi
In my studio, emotion and color merge. By working with sharp contrasts and vivid tones, I translate the intangible into a tangible interplay of light and color.
