Sissi's work unfolds in series, each with its own visual language and emotional energy, each carrying its own mood, rhythm, and story.

Every work is painted by hand in acrylic on canvas, in Sissi’s studio in Alphen aan den Rijn. Characteristic are the intense colors, the drips and splashes left as traces of the process, and the bold black lines. La Femme is a figurative series about the female form: quiet, layered and personal. Fireworks is abstract and expressive, an explosion of color and movement.

Every work has its own name and its own story. Originals are for sale on request, the La Femme series is available as art cards and prints , and every series can serve as the basis for a custom painting.
